Cookie Policy
How FinnAccountings uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how FinnAccountings Limited (“FinnAccountings”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on FinnAccountings websites and applications.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Where we rely on consent for non-essential cookies, you may withdraw consent at any time.
3. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary — required for security, authentication, load balancing, and remembering your cookie preferences. These do not require consent.
- Functional — remember preferences such as theme and locale (IE/UK).
- Analytics — help us understand usage (e.g. PostHog, Google Analytics). Loaded only after you opt in.
- Marketing / advertising — measure campaigns or show relevant ads (e.g. Google AdSense) where enabled. Loaded only after you opt in.
4. Examples we use
- finnaccounts-cookie-consent — stores your consent choice (necessary);
- Session / auth tokens — keep you signed in to the product app (necessary);
- Locale preference — IE vs UK region display (functional);
- PostHog / GA / Clarity — analytics and product insight (analytics, consent required);
- Advertising partners — where ads are shown on marketing pages (marketing, consent required).
5. Managing cookies
You can update your preferences at any time using or through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.
Analytics and marketing cookies are disabled by default until you accept them in our cookie banner.
6. Retention
Consent preferences are stored for up to 12 months, after which we may ask again. Analytics identifiers follow each provider's retention settings, typically 12–26 months.
7. Contact
